im looking for ways to save on my electric bill and was wondering if id save energy by using my regular fan that plugs into the wall instead of my ceiling fan?

    Your ceiling fan is probably more energy efficient in terms of cubic foot per watt.

    use fans instead of a/c would work and make sure all the lights are off in a room you are using

    The problem with fans is that people forget to turn them off when they leave the room. If you can turn it off, the ceiling fan is better at cooling than a box fan.
