you can invest in insulation and claim it to receive a tax credit. do you have a digital thermostat? you can program it to turn down the A/C when you’re not home and at night when outside temperatures are lower. Trees in the yard can provide shade and keep your house from heating up as much…there are probably many more ways but these are the only ones that come to mind at the moment.
